Hotline helps those in need

Due to the difficult economic times, calls to the county’s only free 24-hour suicide and crisis hotline have increased significantly. Mike Bossenberry, program manager for 211 SLO Hotline, will shed some light on why there is a growing number of suicides in our area and let us know how we can help.

Mrs. Hughes may be the last person anyone would expect to see in a nightclub, but she’s used to performing in many. Dubbed “America’s Funniest Grandma,” Carol Hughes began her comedy career when she was 40, and she’ll start your day off with a laugh.
