"Since it began several years ago, Solstice Green Directory has been a member of the SLO Chamber. We especially appreciate the effort that is made to encourage sustainability in the business community by sponsoring the annual Green Awards. They are inspiring to all of our staff. We have made many valuable contacts as well as friendships through the monthly mixers. Meeting people 'one on one' is so very important in today's business environment. Bringing people together is part of our mission so we really value the networking. We believe that SLO Chamber membership is a great investment for any Central Coast business!"

"The Chamber brought new life into my business. As a professional organizer, I don’t have a very common business. However, the tremendous networking opportunities offered through the Chamber allow me to explain my business in person. I often receive the 'Aha, that’s what you’re doing' response. As a result, new collaborations have started that I didn’t even consider before joining. The Chamber is like my personal coach that I can always go to, and the resources are endless."
~ Conny Gut, FineLine Organizing, Paso Robles
"As a public relations and marketing professional, I've recommended SLO Chamber membership to many clients. The new member benefits and ongoing support from the Chamber make my job easier. I always advise clients to identify 'complementary, non-competing allies.' The Chamber’s networking opportunities are a fun and welcoming way to make those valuable connections. And, thanks to the responsive and supportive people at the SLO Chamber, when I send them a media release, it reaches Chamber members, Facebook fans, Twitter followers and web site visitors. Talk about getting more bang for your buck!"

"Before I was a SLO Chamber member for even six months, I already felt I had received beyond the full value of my membership! I took advantage of nearly every new member promotional item, attended every monthly mixer, did a soapbox and distributed flyers at GMSLO and joined three committees – all before half of my first membership year was over. Nearing a year of membership, I see that by infusing myself into the Chamber membership early, I see at least a dozen people I know at every Chamber event I attend. My goal is to never leave an event without introducing myself to new people or asking connections to introduce me."
~ Baley Plascencia, Plascencia Projects, Cayucos
"In a town where no one knew who Beach Butlerz was, the SLO Chamber welcomed us with big smiles and open arms, quickly launched our name to all it's members, and created a solid base for us to launch to success. Becoming a member of the SLO Chamber of Commerce was the smartest business move I did last year. The mixers are priceless (yet FREE!) and the members you meet at them are eager to get to know you and build genuine business relationships."
~ Cecile DeMartini, Beach Butlerz LLC, San Luis Obispo
"I've found the chamber, and especially the mixer events, to be extremely helpful in getting the word out about our company. At the last mixer at SLO Brew, I passed out 35 cards and probably had in-depth conversations with 15 people I had targeted (by looking at their name tags and business identities) to be those who would find our website of interest. Unbelievably, several contacted me within days, either by email or going up to our Facebook page (where we are trying to increase our views). I was knocked out to see how many people attend the mixers and how friendly everyone is. It's like having a targeted online group-but in person. As a new member of the chamber, we hope to use any avenue provided by the chamber to network our business."
